Chuck Tamburro
Chuck has been flying since he was 19 and got some invaluable experience when he flew gun ships in Vietnam. He brought his military background to Hollywood and with the help of his uncle, who is mentioned in my second book, he has performed daredevil stunts in movies for the past 25 years.
He is a long time member of the elite group of stuntmen called Stunts Unlimited, whose members have provided many recipes for this book. Chuck has had a long time association with action star/Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. He first started flying for Arnold on the movie, "Commando" and has been with him ever since.
You may remember some of Chuck's more famous flying sequences on movies including "True Lies;" "Terminator II;" "Outbreak;" "The Rock;" "Gone in 60 Seconds;" "2 Fast, 2 Furious;" "Die Hard," 1 and 2; and "Predator;" just to name a few.
At the time of this writing Chuck just completed work on a Tom Cruise movie called "Collateral," directed by Michael Mann. He has also performed on countless TV shows including "China Beach," "A-Team," "Air Wolf," and "C.S.I."
He is currently filming the hit TV series "24" with Keifer Sutherland. He is also an accomplished 2nd unit director and when he isn't flying under bridges or rescuing women from speeding cars, I can always find him on the golf course with our son Chris or in the kitchen with me.
